As for what do I think of it???

WOW!!! Nice,,,,VERY NICE! I own a couple of Russ Esperitas, 1
Southwest, 1 Jacoby Custom and 1 Prather Custom. This Skip Weston, by far and away, exhibits the highest artistic quality and workmanship of any cue I've owned. I am also excited by the balance and hit, very sweet. Don't know if it is the ivory joint (a first for me) or the moori tips and ivory ferrules...probably all the above, but I like it, and with time, feel confident I'm going to have alot of fun learning to love it.

Thanks again, for representing this stick honestly on your web site,
for the fast "extra care' service, and ....being available to take orders on a Sunday evening.

ps, If you talk to Mr. Weston, please convey my pleasure , and let him
know its refreshing and along time coming to find an cue construction artist that seems to favor leather wraps over cloth.

Use my words? Go right ahead. They are even more sincere since I've had time to spend about 5 straight hours on my table at home, getting used to all the special refinements... these Weston shafts are a ton of fun to work with. At first I figured it was the morri tips,,,then remembered I've tried them before and thought "nothing special" ...got out some of my other custom shafts and side by side, started comparing them. Logged on to Skips web page and confirmed my own conclusions. Go figure, he is a player too...so it makes since, his work is not just pretty... its also highly functional. Hey! go right ahead Sean...and let me know if you post another to your Web Site that you think I should take a look at. (NO I am not going to look at that cue with the "Chain" ringwork... no no no
Ha!

I own over 60 cues (Palmers, Szamboti, Hercek, Tascarella, and many more) and my two Skips are among my favorites. I use one of my Skips as my current playing cue.

Bought used...

I paid $1600 and consider it a Bargain this cue plays better than my Cognoscenti, Richard Black,AE,Bender,or South west. Normally I never thank some one for doing there Job, but this kind of Quality and craftsmanship needs to be complemented. Thank you for making this cue Its became my all time favorite playing cue. I know that you receive many letters on your work and probably never read them. But I've taken this cue to four or five of the largest billiard halls in Atlanta and everybody has came over and look at it, or wants to hit a ball with it, I'm 62 years old and have played all my life with high dollar cues, I still own more then 30 high end cue at the present time, and have never had any one cue receive so much attention. I've let People play with this cue and they love it,Nick Varner,Johnny Archer,Paul Turner and several other champions think that it plays great. I hope that you receive some business from my showing this cue here in Atlanta because great work like yours should receive recognition.Once again Thank you!!
